Hello and welcome to the 4th grade!
My name is Mr. Christopher (Chris) Nardone. I was born and raised in a town called Carver, MA on the south shore. Millis reminds me of Carver, except instead of horses, we had cranberries. In fact, one of my first jobs was working on the cranberry bogs. It was a job that taught me about hard work, teamwork, and communication. Ask me how many jobs I have had, I am starting to forget.
After I graduated from Carver High School, I attended Stonehill College. I earned a bachelors degree in business administration. After graduating I began a career in accounting. I earned my masters degree from Northeastern University. Most recently, I have attended Framingham State University to achieve my license in education.
I am a verified sports nut. I root for all the New England teams, but my favorite team is the Red Sox. There is something about warm summer nights and the Red Sox on the television or the radio. However, I had season tickets for the Celtics for a few years, cannot remember the last Patriots game I missed, and follow the Bruins closely as well.
If you are not a sports nut, no worries. My friends and family have suggested that I may have too many hobbies. I am an avid fisherman. I have a small fishing boat and when I am not in the boat I can be found at Bass Pro Shops. I also love to hike and camp. I have camped/visited Denali National Park, Glacier National Park, and Yellowstone National Park, just to name a couple of my favorites. I am a landscaper by trade and I love plants. I love playing guitar, there is so much to learn and I find music humbling.
My wife's name is Betsy. We have a son named Noah and a dog named Nali. We love spending time with our friends and families.
This is my fifth year at CFB and I am so excited for this class! This is the first year in the NEW CFB! You are all officially "Nardonians," as my students named themselves my first year. I am your classroom teacher this year, but I will always be your teacher if you ever need me. I cannot wait to learn more about all of you and your families!
Sincerely,
Mr. Nardone
